Products with many uses decrease the number of items that are in your space. Consider the common jar lid opener. Here are some examples of how a jar lid opener can be used:
- Place in car, purse, or briefcase to remove pet hairs.
- Keep with your lightbulb supply for unscrewing hot lightbulbs.
- Retain in garage or work area to remove auto radiator caps, tighten garden hoses, hand screw oily parts, or grip tools
- Store in kitchen for use as a pot holder, drain stopper for sink, protect baby from slipping from high chair, or to open garlic cloves
- Locate in living room as coaster for drinks, protection under vase or flower pot, or under throw rugs to keep from slipping
- Use in bathroom as drain stopper for bath, to loosen stuck fingernail polish lids, or to remove medication lids
